Howdy y’all! We are pleased to welcome a new member to the State Fair of Texas full-time team — Kristina Lozano, who is joining us as our new Payroll Coordinator.
Kristina brings with her valuable experience from FTI International, where she managed both bi-weekly and weekly payrolls across multiple divisions. Her responsibilities included processing employee data changes such as new hires and terminations, auditing payroll for accuracy, and handling benefits administration and W-2s.
At the State Fair of Texas, Kristina will take on several critical responsibilities, including:
- Payroll — Managing both weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
- Benefits Reporting — Coordinating benefits data and reporting
- Paid Time Reporting — Tracking vacation, sick leave, short-term disability, and family medical leave
- Workers Compensation — Managing injury reporting and documentation
- New Hire Reporting — Ensuring compliance and timely processing of new employee information
Kristina holds an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences from TCC Southeast Campus and is a proud mother of three.
